Q & A with Attorney Johnson:
Q: Why immigration law?
A: “I chose to practice immigration law because I love the connection and longevity with clients. Everyday, I meet new people from all over the world. I love listening to my clients’ stories, and it brings me great joy knowing I can help in some small way to make their lives better. I consider it a huge privilege to be invited on their journey.”
Q: What is your favorite part about immigration law?
A: “Some of my favorite days as an immigration attorney have been the days I’ve stood witness to my clients’ approvals for U.S. citizenship or permanent residency. For some individuals, it can take many months, or even years, to navigate the intricate U.S. immigration system.
I know when clients hire me they are not only entrusting me with their immigration case but their livelihood, family life, and future. I never take that for granted.”
Q: What drives you?
A: “I believe strongly that passion drives success. When clients come into my office for the first time, they are often nervous and anxious about their immigration journey. I am passionate about finding the strongest strategy while using the most sophisticated methods to expedite the process. I fight for my clients as strongly as I would for my own family and business, because everyone deserves proficient legal services.”
Q: Where can we find you on your off days?
A: “When I am not at the office, you can most likely find me hanging out with my husband, Nathan, my son, Cooper, and our rescue dog, Zoe. Charleston is one of the best cities in the world. I love just walking around the city, spending time with friends and family, and checking out a local eatery or yoga studio.”
